Reading through our reviews, a few themes appear again and again.
Feeling Listened To
Aesthetic consultations should not begin with somebody telling you what is wrong with your face.
They should begin with listening. I want to understand what has changed, what is bothering you and, equally importantly, what you do not want to change. Sometimes the treatment someone initially asks about is appropriate. Sometimes another option makes more sense. And sometimes my recommendation is to leave something completely alone. here is no obligation to have treatment simply because you have booked a consultation.
Clear, Honest Advice
Patients frequently mention the amount of explanation they receive during their appointments. That matters to me.
Before proceeding with treatment, you should understand what it is intended to do, what it cannot do, what the alternatives are, what downtime might be involved and what the potential risks are. you should also feel comfortable asking questions. There is never a silly question when somebody is considering an elective procedure.
Continuity of Care
One of the advantages of being a small, doctor-led clinic is that you know who is looking after you. Every consultation and treatment is personally carried out by Dr Caroline. You are not assessed by one practitioner and then passed to somebody else for treatment. For patients who are nervous about aesthetics, or simply value building a long-term relationship with one practitioner, that continuity can be particularly reassuring.
A Private, Personal Clinic Experience
Our clinic is located at 2 Crown Passages in Hale, Altrincham, tucked just away from the main high street.
Appointments are intentionally unhurried and the clinic is appointment-only. Patients frequently mention the calm atmosphere, personal welcome and more intimate environment compared with larger clinics.
For us, that experience is not an added luxury. It is part of providing thoughtful care.
Natural-Looking Aesthetic Care
Many of our patients come to us because they do not want dramatic or obvious aesthetic treatment.
They want to look like themselves. My approach is therefore deliberately conservative and focused on maintaining the individuality of the face rather than following a standardised aesthetic template. Sometimes that means treating less. Sometimes it means concentrating on skin quality instead. And sometimes it means recommending no treatment at all.
